Toys for Tots Toy Collection

The anticipation, excitement, and happiness of receiving a gift can create a lasting, positive impression on a child, and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation hopes to offer that experience to millions of children across the nation this holiday season. Each year, the Toys for Tots mission is the same-- to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December, and then deliver those toys to local children who otherwise might not receive any holiday gifts.

The goal of the program is to not only deliver a message of hope, but to raise self-esteem and to inspire the children to become responsible, patriotic citizens. The program gives children the opportunity to see Marines as an encouraging example, and observe how men and women, just like themselves, have achieved success. The program also aims to bring communities and businesses together by investing in children within the community.

This month, ProPharma Group supported this initiative by serving as a drop-off site for the program at our Overland Park, Kansas office. We are happy to report that through the generosity and kindness of our colleagues, we were able to completely fill our donation bin! We received numerous toys and books for children of all ages, and are honored to help make the holiday season more magical for children in our area.
