Joe Biehl has over 23 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry providing consulting, field service, maintenance, and reliability engineering, as well as compliance/validation, both domestic and international. He has successfully developed and executed strategic plans for established and startup organizations to expand existing business lines while improving profits.
Joe has developed and implemented commissioning and maintenance programs using a risk-based approach. In addition, he has worked with multi-national pharmaceutical companies developing work instructions for the facility maintenance departments, development of commissioning standards, and the set-up of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). He has worked with multi-national pharmaceutical companies reducing the paperwork and improving the workflow for maintenance departments. His work has helped clients achieve reduction in overall maintenance costs by as much as 20% annually. Joe has developed maintenance schedules for utility, process, and laboratory equipment and has lead and executed cGMP audits both domestically and internationally. Joe has led projects for compliance remediation, CSV, and technology transfer. He currently leads ProPharma Group’s consulting practices.
Joe founded and headed the compliance consulting company, ValiCor Associates, Inc. He also headed the North American division of a multi-national engineering, construction, and compliance company. Joe earned his degree from Drexel University and obtained a Graduate Certificate from the Seton Hall Law School in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Law in 2012.
