Jim Kolbet has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry working first in an operating company followed by consulting. He began his career in quality control testing before moving on to commissioning, qualification, and validation work that was exclusively in the field. In 2003, Jim became the second full time employee of ProPharma Group where he assumed a diverse array of responsibilities ranging from accounting, project management, sales and marketing.
For the last five years Jim has focused on building ProPharma Group’s Product Management group which focuses on supporting client needs in the areas of Program and Project Management, Technology Transfers, and CMO outsourcing. In 2017 he took ownership of ProPharma Group’s Compliance and Quality Assurance business units with a goal of unifying all service offerings to enhance our value to the client base.
Jim has had the opportunity to manage technology transfers, system implementations, commissioning/qualification/ validation projects, and facility build outs including the design, build, validation and startup of one of the largest 503b compounding pharmacies in the US.
Jim earned both his BS in Biology and MBA from the Iowa State University.
